CD FLAT - more fast, more simple, more forgiving
Our Flat model due to specific design of the profils at the top part of the sail is particularly easy to use and forgiving, specially adapted for youngest lightweight athletes Even releasing the main sheet, the sail will gain the speed without loosing the angle.

The CD Flat sail is made with 2.99 polykote Dacron from Contender.
Winning Features
The geometry of the sail is developed to ensure maximum performance in all wind conditions. The shape and surface of the sail in combination with the position of the battens ensure that the sail is easy to trim, especially at the top part of the sail. The length and stiffness of battens are adapted to match perfectly the designed shape of the sail.
The tabling is precisely elaborated and adapted for various edges of the sail to maximize the performance.
Our sails have a special dyneema pretensioning system in the top of the sail. This extra performance feature assures that the sail keeps it's shape under tension. In the long run, the sail, without this system creates a vibration that affects not only the aesthetics of the sail but also the performance.
Conformity
Our sail design is developed to reach the maximum possible dimensions according to the International Optimist Dinghy Association (IODA) class rules. Every sail is constantly measured and controlled during the production process and an official sail measurement certificate is provided for each sail.
