Compared to standard straps, it guarantees a weight saving of 200 g in dry conditions and even bigger saving when your standard straps get wet helping to keep your boat light also during the regatta.
The material is ZL 06P Polyester - used in double layer with reinforced ends to guarantee the optimal screw holding.
50x50 denier plain weave taffeta and a black polyester warp insertion combined with a 1000 denier black polyester fiber at 30 degrees off the warp (Zig Zag insertion) allows the material to have greater strength and resistance in all directions.
This combination determines excellent durability and the maintenance of the material properties over time.
After continuous extensive testing, these straps have already been used during the 2023 and 2024 Optimist World Championships.
