We have a 3 exciting days for you in mind just before the 8th edition of the Halloween cup.
Join our training just before with Marcello Meringolo, Marco Gradoni and Claudio Demartis and show your best in the famous autumn regatta right after.
As a tradition - we come with world’s best coaches, experts and technicians in the Optimist class and the possibility to try the new Optimist sails designed by Claudio Demartis.

Minimum 10 years old, with experience
Coaches
Marcello Meringolo: Optimist coach since 1998. Italian team Optimist coach for world championships.
Claudio Demartis: Owner of CD Sails, founder of Olympic Sails. Sailor of many successes at a national and international level, winner of 3 world championships.
Marco Gradoni: Three-time Optimist Class World Champion- the first sailor to ever achieve this result. Awarded as 2019 male Rolex World Sailor of the Year.
Work Program
- Improvement of the general technical level
- Work on the manoeuvres and starts
- Video analysis with targeted feedback
- Regulation and work with the sail to achieve the maximum performance
- Experience sharing, suggestions and support of triple Optimist world champion
Schedule Tuesday 27.10 - Thursday 29.10
- 8:30- gathering at Torbole Sailing Club and preparing for start (Via Lungolago Conca d'Oro, 12)
- ~12:30 lunch in boat ( please take with your lunch box)
- 15:00 closure of training
- 15:30 debriefing
Equipment
We suggest to come with complete equipment and own boat except the sail. It will be possible to buy the sail as the part of the training package or test it during the academy days
Costs
1) Package Coaching & Sail: 650.00 Eur + VAT (22 %) -> 793.00 Eur
In the package is included CD Sail of your choice (flat , medium or power) for a special price + 3 training days with Marcello Meringolo, Marco Gradoni and Claudio Demartis
2) Only coaching: 450.00 Eur + VAT (22 %) -> 549.00 Eur
3 training days with Marcello Meringolo, Marco Gradoni and Claudio Demartis. You are more than welcomed to test the CD Sail during the academy days.
Payment
Once your registration is confirmed, we will issue and send you the invoice. We kindly ask you to do the payment only after you have received the invoice with all the payment details included. We normally ask to send us the payment confirmation before the first academy day.

REMEMBER!
All boats must have a valid insurance and all the participants have to have the valid class card.
PLEASE NOTE!
The participants have to organize independently the acomodation.
To use as much as possible the favourable wind conditions of Garda Lake in October , we plan one sailing session per day without interruptions with the lunch box in boat. Every participant has to take care for the lunch box independently. Coaches will have the water and energy bars available whenever needed.
